FOOD DRIVES

Host a food drive in your community

The Food Bank welcomes community food drives. Do you have space in your office, classroom, café, storefront, or community space for a food donation box? The Food Bank supports clients five days a week, twelve months of the year. With the increasing cost of food and household essentials, the need has never been more urgent. We'd be happy to supply your venue with a donation box and a current wish list.

SEASONAL GIVING

Christmas Hampers

Each December, the Food Bank prepares Christmas Hampers for local households. We prepare hampers for approximately 130 local households, supporting more than 300 individuals. Each hamper includes food and toiletries. Donations of these special items during the holiday season make an enormous difference to families in our community.

SUPPORTING THE THRIFT STORE

Donate Items to the Thrift Store

All Thrift Store sales directly support the Food Bank. Donated items should be clean, undamaged, and free from stains, smells, holes, animal hair, and dirt. Please place donations in weatherproof and bug-proof bags or boxes; wrap breakable items carefully and do not leave outside when bins are full and the store is closed.

Mobility and assistive devices may be donated to organizations such as the Lions Club or Red Cross.

Drop off donations at the blue bins at 9A Sonny's Road during thrift store hours (Tues–Sat, 11:30am–3:30pm). If the bins are full, please hold your donation and return when the store is open.
